Hiking Trail 1 takes you from the Hotel towards the east to the Observation Tower. Behind it, turn left to the north where the trail descends through the woods. After 15 minutes of walking, you will reach Pesek (alpine hut, 1387 m). From Pesek, the trail leads you towards the west onto the road to Lovrenc on Pohorje. After 700 metres of walking, cross the Radolnja Stream by Mašin žaga and ascend the ridge along the cart track until you reach the Komisija Pass (peat marshes).Turn left again towards the south. The trail will take you to the grassy peak of Ostruščica (1498 m, peat marshes).Walk along the plains and reach the Planja Hotel in 15 minutes.

Head from the Planja Hotel to the north, similarly to Hiking Trail 3. At the Komisija Pass, you will reach an intersection with Hiking Trail 2. After Lakes Lovrenška jezera, turn left towards the west (trail towards Lovrenc on Pohorje) via grassy plains past Črne Mlake (peat marshes) and along the forest road to the Šiklarica Pass (1298 m) from where you ascend Jezerski vrh (1537 m).There is a separate trail on the right, not far beneath the Peak, that takes you to the Lake Ribniška jezera. Jezerski vrh (National Liberation War Monument) offers a magnificent view. Continue walking for 15 minutes to reach the Ribnica Hut (food, beverages and accommodation). The tour can be extended to the highest peak of Pohorje, Črni vrh (Black Peak; 2 km in one direction, a 30-minute walk). Return back to the Hotel along the same trail.

Take Hiking Trail 2 from Planja to Pesek, then turn right to the road towards Zgornja brv, where you turn left to the marked ascending forest trail towards Klopni vrh (1340 m) and the Šumik beech and fir forest of 47 acres in size on the steepest part of the Lobnica Gorge – Veliki Šumik (24 m) and Mali Šumik (9 m) Waterfalls. Return from the rainforest along the same trail until you reach the starting point and then continue along the marked trail to the Lake Črno jezero. Continue from Osankarica along the forest trail to Trije žeblji (National Liberation War Monument), battlefield of the Pohorje Battalion, and Zgornja brv and then head to the previously described trail via Pesek and Rogla to the Planja Hotel.

The trail takes you towards the west to Kraguljišče and along the ridge to Ovčarjev vrh (1219 m). Continue along a marked trail to St. Vitus' Church. After reaching St. Vitus' Church, ascend the road that will take you to the Skomarje Village where the folk poet Jurij Vodovnik was born (monument in the middle of the village, memorial plaque on the church, “Skomarje House”). Ascend the shepherd trail to the Planja Hotel.

From the Planja Hotel, take the road that leads to Zreče. When you reach a sharp left turn, turn right into the forest and follow the trail for Mislinja or Lukovo Waterfall. When you reach Kraguljišče, follow the signs for the Lukovo Waterfall and descend to the right.Cross the road and descend the forest trail until you reach about 1,000 m in altitude.Now you have reached a macadam road and a confluence of two rivers. Follow the ascending road.You will reach the abandoned Zgornja Komisija or Velika Mislinja Village that used to house shepherds, lumberjacks and foresters. Instead of taking the road to Rogla, turn right through the village.In 10 minutes, you will reach the Lukovo Waterfall. Return from the Waterfall to the first intersection, where you will find a stone marking for Rogla, and continue along the forest trail (Planja Hotel – Lakes Lovrenška jezera) to the Planja Hotel.

Descend from the Planja Hotel to the Sports Hall. Turn into the woods and continue along the forest trail to a minor wooden tower where the trail starts to slightly ascend.You are accompanied by the Pohorje Dwarf and educational boards along the way.When you reach a clearing, head right towards the Jurgovo Hut. Ascend the macadam road or ski slope towards the Planja Hotel. When you reach the top of the connecting draglift, turn right into the woods to see the Observation Tower.Then return through the woods along the trail to the Planja Hotel.

Important sights along the way: St. Jacob's Church in Resnik, Ošlak Forge (the only remnant of the former forges in the Zreče area located in Boharina. According to sources, it dates back to around 1770).

Descend from the Planja Hotel on Rogla to the Sports Hall.The trail leads you downwards to the Nune Settlement. Cross the main Zreče – Rogla road to reach the Resnik Village (995 m) located below the Nune Settlement with its renowned Vidmar Tourist Farm and St. Jacob's Church.Walk along the asphalt road through the village until you reach a cart track that takes you through the woods past the Brdnik and Gradišnik Farmhouses. The trail takes you via woods and meadows past the Črešnar–Zajški Farm and the Zreče–Skomarje road as well. Behind it, you will find the preserved Ošlak Forge, which is worth a visit.Head downwards along the road running by the Dravinja River until you reach the Pod Roglo Hotel with its in-house brewery. Return back to Zreče along the main road through the Loška Gora Settlement.
