A great sporting atmosphere at the FIS Snowboard World Cup in Rogla
Today, for the 12th year in a row, Rogla hosted the best snowboarders in the world. 85 snowboarders from 14 countries competed in the parallel giant slalom on the Jasa ski slope.
For the first time, Tsubaki Miki fom Japan won at Rogla and for the second time Benjamin Karl from Austria climbed to the top step of the podium at Rogla.
The Rogla 2024 Organising Committee, together with Unitur employees, is proud to see the reactions of the competitors, coaches and support staff, the media, spectators and visitors.
Once again, the snowboard competition was held at the highest level in an exceptional sporting spirit. Rogla once again proved that it is an experienced organiser of international snowboard competitions, justifying the trust of the International Ski Federation, the Slovenian Ski Federation and the domestic and foreign sports public.
Without the expertise, years of experience and hard work of the employees of Rogla and Terme Zreče, the support of partners and supporters, and the cooperation of more than one hundred and twenty volunteers, we would not have been able to do it, so a sincere thank you to all of you who were part of the sports festival at Rogla.
See you next year at the FIS Snowboard World Cup Rogla 2025.
